Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Cranbrook Museum

The museum is housed in the Old Rectory Cottages, dating in part from c1480. Varied displays illustrate the history, past industries and costume of the Weald area. There is also the Boyd Alexander collection of local birds containing many now rare specimens. Attractive gardens lead to the Old Horse Pond, a haven of peace and tranquillity in which to browse nostalgically through Cranbrook's past. Archives access is available for local and family history research.
